From Paramedic to Care Advocate

As a young EMT, I found myself in the heart of life's most vulnerable moments. From delivering newborns to comforting those taking their last breath, I've experienced the full spectrum of human life. I saw the beauty of life's beginnings and the heartbreak of its endings, and it shaped me in ways I never could have imagined.

Throughout my career, I worked alongside patients who were facing life's toughest challenges – some who had been neglected for days, others who were alone. I remember feeling a deep sense of helplessness, knowing I was saving lives but not always able to provide the care and attention they deserved.

I worked over 100 hours a week for just $12.40 an hour, and although the paycheck was small, my desire to make a difference never wavered. From my first cardiac arrest call to working as part of the COVID-19 Rapid Response Team, I've dedicated myself to helping others. But the deeper I got into healthcare, the more I saw how much more could be done, especially for the elderly.

That's when I decided to make a change. I turned to real estate, not because I wanted to leave healthcare behind, but because I saw an opportunity to create real change by providing safe, comfortable homes for our seniors – the people who deserve it most. That's how Harmony Home Care was born. Our mission is simple: provide dignity, comfort, and a sense of belonging to those who need it the most.
